タイヤの空気圧

Tyre Pressure Tips

タイヤの空気圧はとても敏感に走行性に反映します。
高い空気圧は摩擦を減らしハイスピードに最高ですが、スリップしやすくなりコース周りは遅くなります。

Tyre Pressure is a "sensitive" matter:
Higher Pressure reduces tyre footprint and friction i.e Higher Speed, but conversely increase slippage, i.e. Lower Track Time.

マストトップのキャップを失くした場合、どうするの？

I've lost my Mast Top Cap, What do I do?

マストの下方部マストキャップを失くすよりはよいといえます。（下方部マストキャップを参照）

マストキャップなしてセーリング走行を続けると、マストターバンに徐々に負担が加わり、最終的にターバンを切ってしまうことがあります。２次的な損傷を防ぐ意味でも、早めの交換をお勧めいたします。

Losing a Mast Top Cap is not as serious as losing a Mast Bottom Cap. (See Mast Bottom Cap).

Sailing without a Mast Top Cap will slowly damage the Mast Turban and eventually cut the Turban.

Replace the Cap to prevent other damage.

マストキャップの下方部を失くした場合、どうするの？

I've lost my Mast Bottom Cap, What do I do?

まず、キャップをはめるまではブローカートの使用は禁止です。

下方部のマストキャップなしでセーリングすると、普通の風においてもひねったり、またはひどいジャイブなどの走行により局地的に圧力がかかり、マストセクションにすぐにヒビや縦割れなどが入りやすくなりますので、絶対にしないでください。

ただちに下方部のマストのキャップをはめることをお勧めします。マストのベース部分を交換するよりはるかにコストを抑えることができます。

ここで学ぶことは以下のことです:

組み立てと片付け時に、常にマストの下方部のキャップがしまっていることを確認する。

マストトップと下方部のキャップ紛失の一番多い理由は、マストを地面に引きずっったり、投げたりした場合におこったり、

または不注意で走行場所に落としてきてしまうことがあげられます。

Stop using your blokart until you have replaced the Mast Bottom Cap.

Sailing without a Mast Bottom Cap will very quickly cause cracks in your Mast Bottom Section and eventually cause the Mast Bottom Section to snap in good wind or under the stresses of an unforeseen bad gybe.

Replace the Mast Bottom Cap immediately. It's cost is less than 3% of a replacement Mast Bottom Section.

Lesson to be learned here is the following:

Always check to ensure your Mast Bottom Cap is in place during assembly of the Sail and Mast.

Mast Top and Bottom Caps are generally lost as either end of the mast is dragged over the ground.

The blokart has been designed with safety as a top priority.
By doing so the sport has a very healthy incident record,
even with over 5000 units sold.
Each blokart comes standard with a safety belt and leg restraining straps.
blokart international recommends the use of helmet, gloves, stout shoes and eye protection at all times.

blokarting is very easy to pick up.
If you can move your arms you can blokart!
Simply get in, belt up, steer with one hand
and pull in the sheet rope with the other.
All blokarts come with a user manual and instruction video.

Nope, the blokart is 'one size fits all'!
Whether you are tall or short, small or large,
the blokart is designed to suit everyone.
For the very tall we even have a foot bar extension that allows you to stretch out those long legs.

ブローカートはたくさんの体力が必要?

Do you need a lot of strength and energy to blokart?

blokarting is very easy to do and requires a low level of fitness. One hand controls the steering which is light and responsive. The other hand holds the sheet rope
which runs through 3 pulleys making it easy to hold.
For long sessions we do recommend gloves.

ブローカートのフリッピング（反転）を止めるには?

How do you stop the blokarts flipping?

それはとても簡単... シートロープをすぐに緩めることです。
（シートロープを持つ手を緩めるか、又は離す）

もしできるならば、風側へ入るようにしてみてください。
これでセールの力を弱める（スピードを弱める）ことができます。
もしもフリップしてしまったら、完全に止まるまで
両手でハンドルを握っていてください。
ほとんどのケースでブローカートもプレーヤーも傷をうけません。

Very simply... let out the sheet rope quickly.
If you can, try and steer into the wind - this will de-power the sail. If you do flip, hold onto the handle bar with both hands until you come to a stop.
In most cases you will damage neither the blokart or yourself.

どのくらいの風が必要なの?

How much wind do you need?

体重と滑走表面状態により異なります。

こどもは風速２．５m/s　（５knots）

 ほどの風で、大人はおよそ風速４−５m/s （８−１０knots）

から走行できます。滑走表面の状態により異なりま

すが、表面が粗い場合は、より風を必要とします。

It all depends on your weight and on the surface you are using. A child will get going in as little as 5kts of wind,
where as an adult will need about 8-10kts.
The rougher the surface the more wind you need.

The beauty of the blokart is that it can sail in an area
as small as a tennis court.
At blokart headquarters we have a 60m x 60m track
that has seen 30 blokarts sailing at once!
Ideal locations include beaches,
car parks and sport and recreation areas.
If you're gonna blokart the sahara desert take a water bottle.

How fast can blokarts go?

好きなだけ速く走れます。
全ては風の強さと、操作するセールのアングルで決まります。

As fast as you want them to. It all depends on the strength of the wind, and the angles you sail at.
Fastest recorded speed: 93 kph (57 mph)
Slowest recorded speed: 0 kph (0 mph)

What does 'one design' mean?

ブローカートのモデルはたった１つ。
この高性能技術のブローカートは、レースでも、クルージングでも、誰でもみんなが同じ１つのモデルで楽しめるということです！
もしレースで負けても、勝者がより良いモデルをもっていたからだ！といえないのです。

It means everyone gets the same high quality blokart.
It also means that we have a level playing field for competitive blokarting. If you lose, you can't whine about someone else having a better machine.

You have three options:
1. sulk
2. clean your blokart
3. go play golf
May the wind always blow!

How portable are blokarts?

Weighing in at only 27kg
and fitting in a bag the size of a suitcase,
the blokart can go just about anywhere in the world with ease. Attach the wheels to the bag
and you don't even have to carry it.

シャシーは何でできているの?

What is the chassis made of?

すべてのブローカートは、高張力スチール又は、ステンレススチールでできています。高張力スチールのシャシーは、亜鉛メッキされ、
腐食を避けるためにパウダーコートされています。
ステンレススチールシャシーは、１００％ステンレススチールで、
錆止めされています。
下記の理由から、アルミニウムは使っていません...
アルミニウムは海洋環境では酸化されてしまう
抗張力スチールやなどに比べて比較的弱い素材
シャシーのチューブは大きく、持ち運びにくく、見た目が悪い。

All blokarts come in either high strength steel
or in stainless steel.
The high strength steel chassis is zinc plated then powder coated to help combat the effects of corrosion.
The stainless steel chassis is made of 100% stainless steel and is virtually corrosion proof.
We have not used aluminium for the following reasons...
Aluminium oxidizes when used in a marine environment.
It is not as rigid as high strength steel and fatigues easily.
The chassis would be made out of larger diameter tubes making it less aesthetic and portable.

マストは何でできているの?

What is the mast made of?

マストはファイバーグラス４本のセクションからできています。
これは、マストがフレキシブルで強い突風の衝撃を吸収し、
ブローカートが簡単にフリッピングすることを防いでいます。
もしフリッピングしても、たいてい割れ目などは入らず、
マストが衝撃を吸収します。
マストが損傷した場合は、１つのセクションの交換ですむでしょう。

The mast is made of four sections of fibre glass.
This enables the mast to flex and absorb strong gusts of wind, preventing the blokart from easily flipping.
If you do flip, the mast will in most cases absorb the impact rather than crack. If you do damage the mast you will most likely need to replace only one section.

アクスルは何でできているの?

What are the axles made of?

フレキシブルに、かつナチュラルなサスペンションを実現するため、アクスルはファイバーグラスでできています。
カーボンファイバーは壊れやすいので使用していません。

The axles are made of fibre glass which allows them to flex and act as natural suspension.
Carbon fibre is too brittle to be of any use.

どんなベアリングが使われているの?

What type of bearings are used?

円形です... すべてのブローカートはグリスを塗った
ステンレススティールベアリングが使われています。
まめにグリスをぬっていれば、どんな滑走表面でもよく動くでしょう。

Round ones... Seriously, all blokarts come with pre-greased stainless steel bearings. They will work fine on any surface as long as you grease them often.

どのくらいの重さまで乗っていいの?

What is the max weight limit?

ブローカートは、正式に は１２０ｋｇまでとしています。
一気にみんなで乗り込んだりしないでください。

We've had people as heavy as Jonah Lomu use the blokart without destroying it.
Officially the blokart is warranted to 120kg,
so please try not to all hop in at once.

Can I make my blokart go faster?

ブローカートはビーチで時速９０ｋｍを超えるスピードを記録しています！もしもっと速く走りたければ?　まず生命保険をチェックして、台風時にでかける?

The blokart has been clocked at over 90kph on the beach!
If you want to go faster check your life insurance is current and go out in a hurricane.

Are there sail options?

3.0m STD スタンダードの他に、 2.0m STORM ストームや 4.0m LITE ライトがあります。ディーラーにお問合せください。

All blokarts come with the 3.0m STD sail. To cover the entire wind range we have the 2.0m STORM and the 4.0m LITE available through your local dealer.

メンテナンスはどうしたらいいの?

What about maintenance?

ブローカートはすべてハイクオリティー。
ほとんどメンテナンスはいりません。
毎回使用後に、汚れや砂を洗い落とし、
油を差しておけば問題ないでしょう。

Being a high quality product the blokart requires very little effort to keep in top shape. Wash and lubricate after each use and you should have no problems.

ブローカートの組立ては?

How do I put the blokart together?

付属のユーザーマニュアルとインストラクションビデオを参考にしながら組立ててみてください。目を閉じてもできるようになれば大物です！ブローカートインターナショナルのChris クリスは、３分半で組立てられます。もちろん目を閉じてです！?

All blokarts come with a user manual and instruction video. Before you know it you'll be assembling the blokart with your eyes closed. Chris at blokart headquarters can set up a blokart in 3 1/2 minutes... with both eyes closed and standing on his head! (yeh right).

ブローカートが破損してしまったら?

I've stacked my blokart, what do I do?

恥ずかしいので数日隠しておいた後?　
交換のため、ディーラーへ連絡！

After hiding for a few days with embarrassment, go to your local dealer who will be able to access any spare part for you.

ブローカートは保証つき?

Do blokarts come with a warranty?

すべてのブローカートは、購入時に金属部品や仕上がり製造不良などのための１２ヶ月の保証が付いています。欠陥品であると認められた場合には、修理や交換をいたします。高品質なためブローカートは、まだ１台もクレーム製品はありません。 国によりの取り扱いが異なる場合があります。

All blokarts come with a 12 month warranty for any manufacturing defect in material and/or workmanship.
We will at our own discretion repair or replace any item
that we find to be defective.
Additional rights and remedies may apply from country to country.

ブローカートは特許法で保護されている?

Are blokarts legally protected?

それはもちろん!
この発明のコンセプトなど、特許、商標、コピーライトなどすべて法律により保護されています。

ブローカート　セイリングのコツ

Sailing Tips

360°、540°、720°、900° のスピンを行う場合は、 2m 又は 3m を使用してください。 4m セイルでどうしても行う場合は、マストセクションを予備で持っていってください。５本のマストセクションに加わる力は相当なものだからです。

If you plan to perfect your 360's, 540's, 720's or 900 degree spins. Refrain to a 2m or 3m sail. If you plan to use a 4m sail, get extra mast sections because the forces on a 5-segment mast are very severe.
